New sounds for Nord Wave 2

This collection brings together two carefully crafted banks for the Wave 2, designed for expressive, atmospheric soundscapes. Using the Wave 2's extensive synthesis capabilities, these programs range from subtle pads to to complex evolving textures.

Cinematic Pads

These 25 programs are designed to provide a selection of tonal, evolving pads, utilizing all aspects of the Nord Wave 2 synth and effects engines to achieve a variety of moods and timbres. A majority of the programs provide a mellow and layered bed of sound, often with the Wheel adding elements or increasing intensity. Some of the programs contain attack elements, which of course can be further adjusted using the Layer faders.

Cinematic Textures

A collection of 25 programs for the Nord Wave 2 that highlight the morphing and layering capabilities of the instrument, utilizing both Samples, Analog, FM and effects to achieve complex and evolving structures. A number of the programs are designed as atonal textures or drones, often with the Wheel highlighting and bringing out certain elements of the sound. Other programs are designed as playable instruments - Leads, Pads and other polyphonic sounds - with a tilt towards the dark and moody.
